Today is National Talk Like a Pirate Day, and I don't think they mean the online music-sharing variety.

Which begs the question: what gear would you pillage if you were a filthy, patch-eyed, peg-legged, ruthless buccaneer?

Here's what I'm thinking, though I'll admit mostly for the purpose of target practice on my blunderbuss:

I wouldn't waste my bullets on those.

Admittedly though, 16 years ago the very first pair of speakers I purchased were a pair of bose 301 series IV. The best thing about Bose is their marketing strategy extends to the general public. I sold mine for almost $100 on CL recently.

A pirate walks into a bar with a steering wheel sticking out of his pants.

The bartender says "Hey! Do you know you have a steering wheel sticking out of your pants?"

Then the pirate says "Arrrrrrrrrrrr! It's driving me nuts!
