I just thought I would post here to see if anyone had a receiver that interested me for my second setup. I have a few options and this thread would be helpful to my search if a deal was too good to pass up

My apologies - I've been out of the loop on the HDMI specs lately and was thinking 1.3 was the version that passed both audio and video.
The 247 does pass both audio and video and is actually HDMI version 1.2a.

i have a Onkyo 805 mint box paper work i have every thing it ever came with is this something you might want?
i got it new and its had a cooling fan on it its whole life. -
The 805 can still eat most current (lesser) AVRs for Breakfast! A real TANK!

Polk Lsi-7s, Def Tech 8" sub, HK 3490, HK HD 990 (CDP/DAC), AKG Q701s
[sig. changed on a monthly basis as I rotate in and out of my stash] -
that's why i never upgraded till now. nothing newer(in its price range when new) has the power of the 805 less you wanna get in to the price of separates. some of the newer stuff is a joke when it comes to power i think the 805 was a sweat spot on power and functions.
