Yikes! I can barely put up with my wife let alone having a coworker live with me. Just kidding. People can be slobs and not have respect for other people's property. I have experienced both in my youth and would not do it again.

I think the best thing to do is Big Bang THeory, Room Mate Agreement :-P

It also did not hurt that the first one just broke up with her boyfriend and has the most perfect set of **** I've ever seen...

That does sound like a good scenario, until she catches you staring and things get awkward. Turns out that wouldn't be a big consideration for me though seeing as the potential roommate is a guy.

I haven't given a final number yet, though that would be more than half my mortgage so I felt that was fair. Maybe I'll think about usage fees from there: $5 for an hour of TV, $20 to have a girl over, etc...

I like it! I'll also make sure to knock three times while saying his name before entering any room...maybe I'll creep him out enough that he'll just hole up in his room so as not to have to deal with me.

    .

As a red blooded American, she knew I had obligation to stare. Plus it's hard not to stare at them when they are bouncing in your face...

She was the best roommate ever. I was VERY sad to see her move back to NYC and even more sad when she then moved to Germany.

As for the topic at hand, it's all relative to you and the person you plan to rent to. I have rented space to others in the past and I have turned people down. If I saw the potential for major issues, I did not go through with it. The major thing is having an exit plan, either short leases or you know they are already looking for another place you're just an in-between.

But if you do rent, sit down with them first and CLEARLY lay out the rules of your house. That way they know if they want to live with you as well...

Lots of good advice. I would stay clear of living with an acquaintance, it's like lending money to friends or family but much worse. A good roommate to have actually are strippers, provided you have them sign a lease with an addendum that they don't bring boyfriends home. They usually are out of the house until the time you get up to go to work, they like to be neat, they are quiet because they want rest, they have money, and they are usually hot plus they aren't so nutty about being seen naked. When they do have friends over they tend to be other hot women, so you win some good company along with rent money. Since you aren't a customer, you might actually score with one of her friends.

Not sure which would be better though, the kind of strippers in Key West where you're from, or the kind in Kentucky where I'm living nowadays.

ha ha, I forgot about that! Yes, we most certainly have strippers you want to see, not the truck stop variety. Mostly hot Russians, Poles, Czech, Brazilians, Colombians, Venezuelans, Argentinians, Germans, Pilapinas, Italians, etc... as well as your local Florida hotties such as Tallahassee lassies.

Can you tell I've been a few times?

Haha yeah it looks as if you're familiar, and I'm sure hearing about their homeland is the main draw for you frequenting. Can't say I've ever been though, and I'm not sure the Bible-belt is the best place to do it...I even live in a "dry" county where you can't buy booze at all! Thankfully I'm close to the county line so it's just a few minutes away to get my fix...maybe I can get this potential roommate to go on my beer runs for me. That'll make it into the roommate agreement.

From my own personal experience, I would say no. You never realize how much you like having your own space until you have a roommate
