So the wife is sick of our upstairs rig and wants something smaller. Currently we have the TSI 300 LR and CS 10 with no surrounds. I have the wireless FX but it's not the same as hardwired And a bit glichie so it is being punished and sent to the kids room.

It's too much work to go with inwall speakers so the TL3 looks good small foot print. Can hang then on each side of TV sure it would look great

Is anyone using these and if so how do you like them?

Cheers Roger

Well I’m going to go with the Blackstone’s TL1 instead of TL3 for a couple of reasons.
1: They are not carried in the local Low-fi store up north and I would have to get then shipped in added cost.
2: I can get the set of TL1 for $200.00, it’s not my main rig anyway, plus I’ve heard these already at a friend’s place and they sound great.
So now that I got myself talked into it I will have then set up this weekend. Looking forward to it; as I love having projects to do around the house and It’s a great way to pass time as the wife is studying this weekend for a test anyway.

Well now the wife is saying she wants in wall (changes her mind like the wind that lady) so I get a bigger project wooho...

So now doing some research and plan to go with inwall for the LR & C and in ceiling for the back surrounds. She doesn't want a sub so I'm looking for some ideas of in wall that's gives a bit of bass. Budget around $1000.00 tops.

    Thanks for any suggestions

    Cheers Roger

Room is 15 x 20 x 8' ceiling as well it opens up the kitchen.

I have the TL3 for my office rig and love them. I think you can get them in white, not sure if will work with your decor, and there are wall mounts at Cruchfield that make them somewhat less obtrusive. My personal feeling having heard the TL1 and TL3 is go TL3 if at all possible.

As for inwalls and bass I would include plans for a subwoofer to fill out the bottom end. This applies for the TL3 as well if you go that route.
