My reason for not attending Polkfest this year...

So I completely intended on coming to PF this year and letting all of you old guys beat up on this young buck. But, after the breakup with Jes I talked to my brother and bought a last minute flight to sunny San Diego! Trip is great so far, kicking it with my six year old nephew, five week old niece, mom, brother and his wife has been great. But the real reason is that my bro is a PADI instructor, so today I completed my fourth scuba dive ever and I'm now a certified PADI rec diver. Did two dives yesterday and two today. Today was kick **** to say the least. I would say I saw several hundred fish, starfish, guitar fish, stingrays, and a sea lion following us onto shore. Talk about an experience! Just wanted to drop this here to brag, and see if anyone else in the NC area is a diver, I'll soon be looking for dive partners and would love to hit up the outer banks area. Tomorrow I conquer sea world for the first time, nephew doesn't know he's going to be "sick" yet, can't wait to break the surprise to him! :biggrin::wink::biggrin:

    I wish, leaving tomorrow. I may be back in October for lobster season, but that's a long shot. How far are you from SD?
