FXi5 fair price?

I found a pair on ebay and they are asking 280 shipped. Sounds high to me because there is some cosmetic damage. What do y'all think? Also is there any way to fix scratches and dings?
There are pics on ebay but Im not posting the link cause im probably not supposed to do that.

    Sounds high to me.

    I found a (supposedly) brand new pair of FXiA6's on the forums here for $315 shipped. Prior to that I had seen FXiA6's go $250-300 depending on condition (none were in "bad" condition).

    These aren't bad, but they would need some TLC if purchased. Thats why I'm curious if there is anything you can do to paint or use a marker over the bad spots. Also curious if there is a way to fix a dinged corner.

    I also noticed the sale also says OBO so.... that has possibilities I guess.

    I'd say 200 is a good price point

    I got new FXiA6 for $320 last year .. so I agree that $280 for used FXi5 is high .. keep looking.

    I'm also in the market for some dipole/bipole surrounds currently. Just today I called Polk direct the eBay store and asked them if they had anything even though the eBay store doesn't show anything ATM.
    They have some FXi30 for $100 free shipping and a pair of the FXiA4 for $269 free shipping but those are refurbished. The FXi30 were new just to let you know. I would look around also had someone here offer some Fxi3 for under $200. Just a heads up and if you do find a great deal on some will you please let me know!!

    Will do man!! Thanks for the info about what polk's offering. I would look on here but I'm not to the post limit yet for the 'for sale' section. I'm also in no hurry though because we are moving at some point and I can't set it all up until then anyway.

    I called this morning and they said they do not have the FXI30 anywhere leftover in the system.

    $280 does seem high. I would check your local craigslist and surround cities. I have had good luck with folks that don't mind shipping to close by city or meeting up if it isnt too far.

    I paid 299.99 for a pair of FXI-5's off the Ebay Polk store in Feb. They are great, I would hold out and call Polk to see if they have any left, if not hold out longer. Amazon is running a good deal on the FXI-A6's in white, they seem to be the same speaker as the FXI-A5's.
