PSW650 shielding question

i'm currently designing a new home theater and understand that the PSW650 i have is not shielded. Deos anyone know approx. how far away from the set I will need to place it? The way i have it planned now, it will only be roughly 2 feet from the TV. Any thoughts are appreciated-

i currently have a 32" WEGA... (traditional Tube). I will eventually be getting a new set down the road though but i don't know what type it will be. which types are best and worst for shielding?

Three or four feet ought to protect a TV tube. IF you do see any discoloration, moving the sub further away will be in order. Most sets, and certainly the Wega, include degaussing capability so any discoloration won't be permanent...

RPT's are essentially immune... Not sure about plasma's...

I thought so too, until I got the PB2+ and its dual 25 pound magnets. It can cause convergence problems, but they are corrected by the auto convergence.
