Okay, I have a limited space issue so in my search for a center to compliment the RT2000i towers, and finding something that is under 5" high, I found a Canton AV500 that will fit. Not sure if it's a good match for my main speakers, so asking here to see if anyone can help. Thanks

Canton makes some very respected speakers. I have no experience with that center but depending on price it may be worth snagging.

tophat, if you put your gear in your sig, folks would be able to help out more with questions like "Not sure if it's a good match for my main speakers, so asking here to see if anyone can help". Just sayin'.

Canton speakers are NOT what they used to be. These days they're usually way too "bright" and "forward". Not sure they'd pair well with older Polks! Why don't you look for a matching Polk center, then you wouldn't even need to ask about it?

Oops, just noticed that you did put the speakers in your post. Anyhoo, if you put your setup in your sig, you wont have to worry about it and have idgs like me not read carefully enough:redface:

That would leave me the Blackstone tl2 at 139.00 shipped. The only one that'll fit??

I used to work for Canton North America back in the late 80s. Pricey German made stuff. I couldn't afford it, even with an employee discount. Not sure how it's weathered the years. It was never much of a factor in the US.
