Audioquest Hyperlitz F-18's
Hello all,
After giving me PBJ Kimber Kable interconnects, My Medical Director brought me three 35' runs of Audioquest Hyperlitz F-18 in the original boxes:eek:. I hit the audio freebie lotto with this guy:cool:
However I dont need that much cable, I'm currently using Blujeans 10awg for my front three with under 8ft runs and thats what I want to trade out. Two questions:
How do you thing these two speaker wires compare?
After I cut the runs shorter, how the heck do I terminate the cut end? These are flat cables with spade connectors.

they are a good sounding cable. I have used the older crystal in the past ( garden hose ) and I thought they sounded good.Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.

I guess I should say the Hyperlitz is from the same line. The crystal was a slo called Hyperlitz
actually this looks like the ones I had LOL http://app.audiogon.com/listings/audioquest-crystal-hyperlitz-10-dual-bi-wire-speakerKlipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's. -
I would start with just listening to them and see how they sound before cutting these up. The extra length does not add that much resistance to affect making a comparison to your existing wires.
