Polk PSW1200 or Klipsch RW-12

Hello All,
Current setup set aside, how does one Klipsch RW-12 stack up against a PSW1200?... How does two RW-12s stack up? Please let me know your answers, and why :) I listen to music, game, and watch movies... Music is all over the place from hardcore metal, rock, acoustic, to dubstep and house. Mostly the last two as of late. Quck answers are appreciated, as I need to jump on the psw1200 by Saturday! Thanks!

The PSW1200 is considered to be one of the best subwoofers Polk has ever made. It utilizes a huge enclosure, an adequately powered amplifier with two huge 12" woofers. It is also one of the only subs stable down to 20hz.

The Klipsch looks to be just a good budget sub, chances are it would take more than two to equal the output of the PSW1200 and it still would not dig as deep.

    Best of luck! :)

Man, what year was that sub made? It's listed at 110 lbs. That's HEAVY! Two 12" drivers as VR3 points out. Pretty impressive!

The PSW1200 spawned from the SRT, RT3000p era, etc

One of the last balls to wall speaker without consideration for size, cost, etc! (Outside of the LSim)

Yeah, and all my speakers are the RT3/2/1xxxp line so.... but I know that polk subs... well, aren't allllways the best for *subs* :P no offense to polk sub owners whatsoever, but Klipsch can produce some pretty bad a** stuff :)

but I also know the rw12s aren't exactly their HIGHEST, nor lowest, sub. the 1200 was highest quite awhile back, and I think subs have changed more than other speakers?
