Welcome to Club Polk Frog! Is that French?

Nice toys. Money to "burn" or a lifetime's worth of 'savings'? Either way; very nice!

But be careful you might send the "car" guys here into Cardiac Arrest. lol

Thanks guys. The Infinity kit is for sale, that's why I had a pic of them sitting in the middle of the floor. I have it listed elsewhere but make me an offer? Yes, I'm in Austin.

Just a heads up you need 100 posts to sell anything and it's done in our Flea Market not as a fly by in an introduction post.

    BTW, welcome to CP

Wasn't really an "official" sale... just reason for all those speakers sitting in the middle of my media room so didn't think much of it. My bad.

Here are some Polk 11T's I had for a little while. Had blown tweeters but put them under a microscope and did some surgery on the voice coils. Very interesting "spring" type wire Polk used from the terminal to the coil winding. Some things can only be respected after observing them through a microscope. Cool stuff. Sounded good as new when fixed! Loved those speakers!

Cool, didn't expect this many Austin folks on here in an introduction thread! Good stuff. :) Been poking around the board a bit in the past and finally decided to sign up. Glad I did.

lol, I figured it was from the car because I have been pretty big into the car scene here for many years here in Austin. Yea, that's the only picture that shows my speakers in my theater / media room, so I figured it was appropriate to post, although it was the same one from my craigslist ad. I need to get some shots of the side Mirage OM 9 side speakers. They match the Carver Amazings well!!! My rears are just Sony SS-MF towers but they sound good! I'll try to get some other pics without all the Infinity towers in the way lol.

If you still have those speakers, I'd recommend replacing the tweeters with the new upgraded ones, the RD0's, they are a big improvement!

Thanks! Good info. I sold the RTA 11T's a few months ago to a guy getting into Higher End audio and he was already ecstatic with the way they sounded but I'll write this down and let him know for future reference though. Thanks!
