EPOS ELS8 Monitors - Black Ash

Epos ELS8 Monitors in color Black Ash rated 8/10 on the Agon scale. A couple of small bubbles on the bottom of the speakers from being on stands, but other than that they are near perfect. Good luck finding speakers that sound this good for the price. Original box and packaging with plastic sleeves and grill boxes included.

Here is a link with some of the specifications:

Attached in the pdf is a glowing professional review.

How about $250 shipped via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground, your choice. PayPal please unless this is a local cash sale.

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
Eric.

Bump for a like new set of speakers. Note these will also make fantastic computer monitors if you have the room.

One of the best "under $500" set of speaks on the market.

Can anyone comment on what these sound like or what they're known for? I'm interested.

I will comment without getting into too many audiophile terms:
    - Midrange is the strong point. Natural and about perfect considering this price range.
    - Bass is very decent. Much better than my Focal's.
    - Highs are smooth and detailed. Much better resolution than vintage polks, (I think I recall you running some Monitor 5's).

Overall a fantastic speaker. Strong resale value as well.

Seems like even the really good deals like this are moving a lot slower on this forum since the beginning of the summer...not sure what's up but hope you sell these fast either here or elsewhere!

Greater "resolution" is not always a plus in my book, especially when those 5s have Peerless tweeters. Oh so smooth. Resolution? Who needs it?

Good to see you sold those! Out of curiosity, didn't you also audition a pair of Energy RC-10s? How did those compare with the Epos, I wonder? I'm curious. Because the Energys are speakes that have decent resolution but are still "mellow". I know Mark likes it a bit "hotter" up top so he finds them blah! So I'm imagining since Mark likes those whether or not they're sharper up top?

As for me, I'm one "laid back dude". Any time I hear more "tweeter" resolution than I should. It's thumbs down! That's why I like the Vifa, Peerless, and tubes.
