Wiring Polk Audio RM6750 to YAMAHA RX-V373BL

Hi, this is my very first home theater system and I am reading online on how to wire this stuff, but I am unsure.
I figured out the subwoofer with a RCA Y-Splitter, but my question is how to wire the speakers to the sub or to the receiver.
There are input/outputs on the subwoofer, and I'm not sure on how to connect them at all. Do I go straight to the receiver and ignore it, or do I go to the sub then the receiver or vice versa?
Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Hello Wizxon,
Thanks for posting on Polk's forum. If you follow the illustration on page six of this owner's manual you will be fine:
