That is exactly what I was looking for. thanks!
I have decided to build my 5.1, perhaps 7.1 system using Polk Monitor series speakers,I love the way they sound. I wanted to know if replacement drivers are available for all of them. I have a pair of refurbished 10B's and I am thinking perhaps a set of Monitor 7's for the rear speakers would work great. Of course I will get a new subwoofer and front center speaker. I'll probably get a Polk subwoofer but there is a Dayton powered subwoofer kit at Parts Express that looks interesting acoustic suspended with a pair of 12 in woofers, a 950 watt amp. The magnet alone on the speakers weight 46 pounds each. The assembled subwoofer weights 176 pounds. One of the testimonials a father mentions when his son has this subwoofer cranked up he can watch the door knocker on the front door of his house vibrate.Radio Station W7ITC -
That's what I'm using in my shop, monitor 10s front monitor 7s center and rear nad receiver carver amp.I am surrounded by the music,no sub for me but if that floats your boat do it up. I think you will be happy with that setup also.

They way my Onkyo home theater receiver works I can control what speakers it uses. When I am in pure Audio mode it turns into a two channel integrated amp. I want a subwoofer for the Blue-ray stuff the massive dynamic range can over whelm the 10B's at times the subwoofer is sort of a cushion for them. But what 5.1 surround music you can find is glorious and a Monitor set with a subwoofer will be nice when you are listening to a massive church organ in 5.1, oh man what a sound.Radio Station W7ITC
