Just saw an article on what Sherwood is bringing to CEDIA and the last line in it caught my eyes.
The company no longer offers a separate Newcastle series of AVRs targeted to A/V specialists and installers.

There are some "really" nice prices on refurb and probably close out deals at accessories4less.com on Sherwood Newcastle pieces. Anyone interested should take a look because they won't be around for long. For those who don't know the Newcastle series is the upscale from other Sherwoods, a bit like Pioneer and its Elite lines?

I had a Sherwood AVR for years. Served me well, and actually, was quite powerful for its rating. Never had a single issue with it. Switched brands when HDMI came out.
