Hi,

For sale is a mint condition Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 1080UB with 1850 hours on the lamp. The original remote is still in the packaging and has never been opened - I always used a universal remote - and the projector itself looks like new. The air filter has been cleaned every 100 hours and the projector was run on a dedicated 20A circuit so the power supply and optical path are in great shape.

I am asking $1250 for the projector and accessories. I will throw in several cables, such as HDMI, component, S-Video, and RCA, along with the original power cord and lens cover. Original box and manual included.

Buyer pays actual shipping,

Thanks for looking

This is a great projector - I picked one up myself off of Craigslist earlier this summer. The picture is amazing, blacks are deep and it's easy to set up - you can move the image l-r and up-down very easily.

I agree this is a great projector. I own one and love it. Very bright with deep blacks, and not too noisy.

Interesting. I paid over $3,000 for this (still have the original receipt) just a few years ago. Guess this place isn't really into projectors. Oh well, last chance before I sell it elsewhere.

GLWTS bro, any thoughts on a newer model? I tried selling my JVC here also, but ended up keeping it. I will be upgrading to the JVC RS4810 this yr though, already preordered from AVS.

I'm not trying to knock your price, I understand you don't want to give it away. However, I think the reason its not selling is that you can now buy a refurbished 8500UB straight from Epson for only $1100. The 8500ub model is 2 generations newer and comes with 2-year warranty. Projectors are like computers: Every generation gets better and cheaper. Re-sale suffers. Your best bet may be to keep it until it dies. I'm sure it still has a nice image.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

The epson ub is a fantastic pj and each new generation has only gotten incrementally better with each generation so its not too far off in pq compared to today's offerings. Projectors diminish greatly in resale making it a great product for the buyer on the used market. As an owner of the Epson 5010 I can say that the 1080ub is not worlds apart from mine despite what the contrast ratio's will tell you. Also take note that the current 3010 and 8350 epson models will be thrashed by the old 1080 ub

Thank you. If you look back just a few years ago, these projectors were going for $2,799 - 3,000 online and from local retailers. It's no secret that I paid $3,260 (incl. NY taxes) for this unit. As a result, I don't want to give this away.

Projector is still available, may need a lamp though as it's still currently being used.
