    These cheap versions are dangerous. They use ceramic glasses, and sometimes only tempered glass. It works great, until it rainsor water touches the glass while its hot, at which time they shatter, and sometimes explode. There are a couple companies out there that use shatter-proof/resistant glass like lexan. I witnessed this in Key West. Luckily no one was near it. I've specified the shatter resistant types and they've performed well. They do look sweet though when used in the right setting.

    Ok, I'm done with my PSA

    haha, yeah. Sorry to get serious on a funny thread. After seeing that thing explode in Florida, it just freaks me out to think people will have these around their families.

    On the other hand, I would risk being around when an MBL explodes :cheesygrin:
