I bought this last year to replace the 3 inline splitters i had. I no longer need this nor do i see a future use.
I used it because we had a couple of cable runs over 75' and didn't want signal loss. During my basement remodel, i was able to drastically reduce the run lengths.
Comes with the plug, module, and i will include 4 cable terminators for any unused ports. You will need terminators to block the amplified signal leakage that your service provider will pick up with their trucks.

    I don't know my @ss from my elbow when it comes to technical jargon on this subject. All i know is on my longer runs, it eliminated the slight snow by boosting my incoming signal. After re-routing my runs through the basement joists as oppose to going from basement to attic and then dispersing from there i found i didn't need it anymore.

    The one catch is that you can't hook your modem up to it. You have to split the incoming having a separate line running to the modem and the other to the splitter. I trashed 1 Charter modem this way but was able to get a new one without a question asked. I should have done better research at the time.

    Before i bought this sucker, i read probably a hundred reviews all across the internet and they were favorable.
    When i get some spare time, i'll dig through the interweb, locate a few and post them here.

    i have the same amp but i use it for my OTA.. since ive cut the cord with cabletv/directv this does all the distro from the stick in the attic. Really a great product. at 20 bucks a steal
