I bought a tablet 2 days ago, and can't get a gmail acct.?! I keep trying to create one, but it keeps resetting, saying that the passwords don't match, when verified.? I just typed the fooking thing in twice, and they don't match?
And ofcourse there is NO tech support. NONE, ZIP NADA! You go to the'help topics' and nothing matches.

Looks like my mobile device will have to be a laptop, RUNNING WINDOWS!

Very strange, indeed. Try creating your gmail account on a computer, then use it to log onto the tablet.

Acer iconia A200, using installed droid browser?
My primary email is with TWC(roadrunner), when I try to access it with the tablet, it says 'not supported', so I tried to set up an Gmail acct. to sync them, and it won't accept my password?

When I bring up google, on my pc, I'm signed in. I have a gmail acct from years ago, that I never use. When I try to sign into it, it won't accept my password. I ask for a password reset, sent to my TWC email. I get nada.

OK, I did that, and imported all my emails from TWC. Now the problem is, on the tablet, I can't login because it keeps taking me to the 'seperate account' page, and won't let me just sign in? It's fubar?!

I'm still not sure I'm following everything you're trying to do.
You "imported" your TWC emails to where?
What exactly is it that you're trying to log into "on the tablet"?
You might consider creating a google (gmail) account specifically for administering android, and not necessarily for email use.
Sounds like part of the problem is that you forgot your old gmail account password and can't seem to reset it. Try starting fresh with a new account.

    I agree with MDAudio.

I would set up a totally new Google/Gmail account, as a test, and see if you can synch that one with on your tablet.

If you can, then you know the issue's with the account settings for your original Google account(s), or your recollection of the use name/password combination(s).

All set, thanks for the help folks. I had to log out of google on my tablet, then sign back in under my new profile. So thats all set. Now I'm having an issue w/ YT, on my pc, where it won't let me sign in?

Can't you just take it to your local google store and have one of the guys or gals in the google tshirts fix it for you? Oh wait......

Make sure you do not have your cell phone linked to your GMail, you can not sync it if you do.
