What should my next speaker move be?

OK... everybody knows how much I am loving the Magnepan MG20's, but over the past few days I have put my little MMG's in their place and I am blown away by the tremendous power, speed and accuracy thes little speakers deliver, even on stuff like AC/DC. Bass is incredibly deep, TIGHT and... well WOW is all I've got here. By comparision, the big maggies are incredibly good, but somehow a tad slow and less punchy by comparision.
I love car analogies, so my comparison here would be the MMG's being equal to a Ferrari 458 Italia and the '20's being like a 550 Maranello. Both are fast and fun to drive, but one corners like it's glued to the road on rails. You can drive in hard and not give up much, but on the back stretch that big v-12 is going to blow your doors off. The 550 has just a bit more roll in the corners, allowing the 458 to get back even as you put your foot on the brakes....
I hope that makes sense, but my question is if I would be better served by looking at the Maggie 3.7's and a nice sub? There is nothing I can do to tighten up the MG-20's as the tube amps are far better at driving them than my TGA 7401 did. I think that big mylar has just too much surface area to be as fast as it should be.

What's your budget?
I'd recommend Apogee Grands or mini grands if you can't fit the big boys, Triangle Magellan series (the concertos are great), or Maybe some JM Labs.design is where science and art break even.
