PS Audio 200CX worth ?

I just found the holy grail of audio hoarder's... I bought a near mint (1 small scratch on top) Pioneer SX-950 for $40 from him, everything works and sounds great. This person has the PS Audio 200cx Signature addition that looks brand new inside & out :biggrin: I know this amp was high end back in it's day but how does it compare with todays amps ? he wants $300 firm, is it worth that ? right now I power my system with the QSC USA 1300 and I'm thinking of replacing that amp. Would PS Audio be a good replacement or something else ?

    It is worth more than $300 and should be a very good amp.

    seems like a good price. not many come up for sale and the cheapest i can find recently from a few quick resources is $360. typically closerto $400 from what I'm seeing
    design is where science and art break even.

    Its worth about 20 bucks, and i feel awful for you.. Tell ya what ill do, Ill go ahead and buy it for the 40.. help ya out a bit :)

    Well that's nice of you, and I should help you out by paying the other $ 260...can I come over and listen to it ? :smile:
