OK, so I ordered the Dared SL2000a. I ordered some 12AT7 matched signal tubes from Brent Jesse audio but they don't have any of the recommended rectifier tubes in stock. Any one know where I can pick one up?

Thanks Chris

Have you checked Ebay? That's where I get all mine.

The Brimar/English made are by far the best. Pretty slim pickings at the moment but that will change.

Which 12At7's did you get from Brent Jesse? Hopefully you read through my posts to give you an idea of what's good.

If I can help in any way pelase ask.

These are French made versions of the famous Holland tubes (made on the same machines) and these are excellent sounding and this is a good BIN price.

    I'd recommend these.

I did read your posts and picked up a pair of the Telefunken 5965s. I read about the microphonic issues but I wanted to start out with some really good tubes. I also ordered a Bendix 6106 rectifier tube but it was backordered and will take a week or so to get to me.

Thanks for all of the great information you put into your posts. I had no clue about tubes a short while ago and am now slowly getting up to speed. I appreciate the offer to pick your brain if I run into trouble.
