So I have been running back and forth from the home in the country and I will be building an enclosed HT from scratch

This is my third thread on the same topic so hopefully I can get this all onto one thread. I am just dipping my toe in the water as I do not have room specs to give as I have not even built the walls yet. What should I be looking into and what brands of room treatment ?

If you have any suggestions of carpet, wall colors and theater seats I can get shipped that too would be helpfull as there are no furniture stores for miles and the ones that do probably have never even heard of HT seating

Well this all depends on how crazy you would like to get with it. Are you willing to slope one of the side walls? How tall is the room you may want to Sit down with a room mode calculator and see what will sound the best.

I am thinking the room will just be rectangular as I am limited with time and I dont want to get too crazy, maybe just a lil on the wild side with side walls to start

Well on one of the long walls I would make it slant in a foot so at the front of the room it maybe 20' side to side and at the back it would be 19' You should look into buying a book called the Home theater book it has all kinds of info on building the room start to finish and will help you a lot. http://thehometheaterbook.com/

What's your goal with the room? Aesthetics, maximum acoustic performance in room, minimal sound transmission outside of room?

Phasewolf's on point with his suggestions about non-parallel surfaces being very desireable. Proper construction techniques can substantially minimize the need for treatment of the room.

The plans changed over the weekend as I went up to work on it so my room now will be open. I will load up some pics of where its at right now to give you guys look. I think once my friend gets the floor done for me I will only be needing either treatment to one wall or some stand alone divider panels on the other side. I wanted to put in tiles with fiber optics through them with fancy lighting etc but now I dont know
