Bridging 2 subs

Unfortunately, I've had to downsize due the financial pressures....I've sold off some pretty nice gear. I recently sold my Micropro 4000 sub and will be subbing with two (2) psw 111 subs. I'll be doing 2ch with 2 subs. My question is which is the best way to connect this system from the following options;

Option 1:
Amp out to sub (1) speaker level in>
Sub (1) speaker level out to sub (2) speaker level in
Sub (2) speaker level out to (l) & (r) mains (speakers)

Option 2:

Amp left output to sub (1) left speaker input then sub left speaker level out to left front speaker
Amp right output to sub (2) right speaker input then sub (2) right speaker level out to right speaker

Which connection would you do? Will either way work equally as well?

Thanks for any feed back
