I have the sda cable plugged into my speakers and what I wanted to know is if I hook to the speaker wires on say the left side and apply current I see that the drivers all push out as they should but should I not see the sda drivers on the right side move or what?

As of now they don't move even tho the sda cable is hooked up is this normal or not?

I would maybe repeat your test with an actual amplifier

You very well could be correct on that. I know it will push all the of the drivers on the one it is connected to so I thought it would show if the speakers are connected correctly on the sda side on the other side.

you have to put power to the right speaker for the lefts channels right speaker to work and vise versa, if that makes any sense, LOL.. I know what im thinking, just cant explain it that well.

Some of the wires fell off on the right channel for the sda drivers sounds a lot better now.

I would recommend unplugging the Interconnect Cable [IC] and disconnect the speaker wires going to the amp. Then use the battery to check each speaker individually to see of all the MWs move the same direction at the same time. That ensures all the MW drivers in each speaker are in phase. Then if you suspect you have a problem, or you just like to test stuff, use the link below to continue testing your speakers. BTW, one 1-1/2 volt battery should be enough to move the MWs enough to tell if they are in phase.

Thanks for the help, once I found the 2 wires that fell off and fix it well lets just say it sounds much better. Too bad I ran the avr setup program with the speakers all messed up now I need to re run it and make it correct plus I bi-wired the tweeters to the current source so I really should redo it anyways.

SDA cable provided a power path but no ground side of the circuit. Speaker drivers in the opposite cabinet will be "dead" due to no ground cable. Totally normal when testing with a battery.
