I'm upgrading from the onboard sound from an Asus A7N8X Deluxe M/B, nForce2 chipset. It supported DD 5.1, and sound nice, but I must say, this Audigy2 ZS is sweet. Listening to the DVD audio sampler disc that was included at the moment. And it really does sound sweet. Very detailed, very crisp and clean. And thats on Yamaha speakers lol. I'll be upgrading my speakers in my Sanctum Sanctrum soon I hope, to Wharfedale Pacific Evo 30's in front and Evo 10's in back.
Haven't had a chance to play around with this thing much yet. Can't wait to take it around the block with the top down and blasting the neighorhood.

What speakers are you using on your PC? -
ATM, I'm using Yamaha NS-A100XT's as mains and a pair of BA HD 8's for rears. An Infinity (forgot the model, sorry) 10 year old center channel speaker. And a BA HD 10 subwoofer, (also 10 years old.)
