line level convertor
Has anyone ever used one? Mainly on a lower end ht receiver for the surround channels that don't have pre-outs?

I've used them in car installs, but I have never seen one for HT. I'd be very careful that these are supposed to be used w/ HT. I doubt they will like the power of a HT receiver if not approved. Who knows you might screw up that amp you're trying to supply.Denon 3802

I've seen the cheaper car versions but I was hoping there was one at Radio Shack or somewhere for home use. I was at a crossroads on whether to finish my speakers or upgrade to a pre/pro and decided to go the speaker route. I'm going to come up with a big power difference between the front and the rear and it will be a while before I can put some cash down on the pre/pro.SDS-400, SDA-1B, SVS 20-39pc+, B&K Ref 50, Denon 2900

I have a Denon 1802. I am running 3.1tl's for the front bi-amped with my Denon monos for 410wpc. I will also have 2 CS400 biamped at 200 wpc each for the center and the rears will soon be fx500/500i running off of the 1802 at a low amount of power(I'm too drunk right now to go dig out the manual)! But I'm sure it's well below 100wpc. Just can't afford the $1200 it would take to get the B&K 30/Rotel 1066 I'd like at this time.SDS-400, SDA-1B, SVS 20-39pc+, B&K Ref 50, Denon 2900
