    the first thing I ask whenever I go to a house party is "where's the beer?"
    the 2nd thing I ask is "you got any steppenwolf?"

    That always throws the DJ off. but if he says yes, then you know you are at the right party.

    If I were to rate the greatest album art of all time, no1 would be the reverse side of Steppenwolf's "for ladies only" lp.
    everyone reading books. Its 2nd to none. no record will ever come close. the wolf rips no matter what. thanks for posting this. I'm glad to see someone with good taste in music for once. You have my highest respect.

    please elaborate man. we're not here to judge anyone. If you are reading this thread you obviously have something in common with the rest of us in here. maybe we should rename the thread to "most memorable acid and grass stories while listening to steppenwolf" Lets pack a bowl and talk about the wolf. this could easily be the best thread in the history of polk forums. i met levar burton from star trek the next generation at a TNG reunion. He said the main reason he did "reading rainbow" was because of this album. I was out with my crew one night and we just came back from my house listening to steppenwolf. We came across these books in the street and the rest is history.
