Which is the best Adcom pre for phono?

The Adcom GFP - 565, or the 555II. I'm not sure what the difference is, as both claim to be great in the phono section. Is one just better over all, then the other. The prices used can be real close..altho the prices seem to jump up and down. Anbody have any info on these 2 preamps?

    I am under the impression that the 565 has a better phono stage.

    I thought the 565 sounded better on the phono. actually all around i thought the 565 sounded better.

    ^^^ what he said-- I preferred the 565 to the 555,,, and that was a long time ago,,,back when Neil could rock for hours with the horse.
