OK... I know the Sig editions ended long before this amp was made, but the sig is pretty cool.
Offered is my near mint Sunfire TGA-7401, recently checked out and signed by Bob Carver. This amp is simply an amazing performer in both HT and the two channel realm. I have been using it to drive my Magnepan MG-20's and it did so with ease, always able to deliver the power needed to bring a recording to life. I love this amp and I would not be selling this piece were it not for the addition of my new monoblock DIY Carver tube amps, and the fact that I really need the space in my rig to showcase them properly. There is a small scratch on the top and one tiny nick it the top edge of the faceplate that I could not get to photograph.
This amp comes with a smoked tempered glass base and will be packed with enough care to survive a drop from space without a parachute. :-)
I do not have the original packing as I am the second owner of this amp, and the manual can be downloaded from Sunfire. The amp is about three years old by the serial number, and should be good for another 20 years without any issues. I guarantee no DOA
Listed on the 'gon for 2950.00 but Polkie price is less.
$2950.00. Please contact me for the polkie price as I dont want there to be a conflict with Audiogoner's finding this listing.
