Deep Bass testing opinions

Anyone have a song or movie they usually test some good bass with?

For a song, I've been cranking Peter Gabriel Sledgehammer - wondering what others use to listen to for some good deep response.

DVD - LOTR - Fellowship - bouncing ring scene in the first few minutes.

DVD - Jurrasic Park - TRex scene

any other good recommendations for music and movies?

Cheers
Zig

    The Haunting DTS-ES version.

This DVD has the deepest track I've ever found. Chaper 17 BUMP IN THE NIGHT is the loudest and deepest to listen.

Beside chapter 17 the DVD is full of deep bass.

Agree, Haunting DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 is one of my favorite demo discs for bass.

Ditto... Hope I'm laughing with you...

Reminded of a bud in my youth who started "singin" a Four Tops tune at the top of his lungs... Burned to death.......

Of course the song was "Burnadette"....

    MORE BASS SHAKERS to try!

TERMINATOR 2 - in the beginning when one of the skynet ships is shot down. The crashing generates enough air from sub to vibrate the clock in my living room 30 feet away.

MINORITY REPORT - the Sonic-Boom gun sound is quite deep.

FINAL FANTASY - the opening sequence is very deep and loud.

STAR WARS The Phantom Menace - Pod Race!

STAR WARS Attack Of The Clones - the rumble of spaceship in the opening.
