hello, i recently purchased the atrium 30 and sub 10 system for outdoor use.
i am having difficulty understanding with the wiring diagram in the manual. i am using an older on onkyo amplifier.model/ ASV610PRO. [i know its an older one] there are no subwoofer in or out puts. there are the red and black screw wire connectors for front and remote, and connectors for center and rear.
i THINK i followed the wiring diagram, although i cannot get the sub10 working.
at the sub 10 i wired the green and white to a white wire to go the onkyo and the the black and red to a black wire to the onkyo.
the manual does not seem to specific. can anyone assist me ?
thank you,

I have one and what you do is the following:
Run 2 speaker cables from your left and 2 from your right outputs on your onkyo.
Run 1 of the lefts and rights into your sat 30s and the other left and rights into the sub 10.
There should be 4 wires coming from the sub 10. One set is for a positive and negative connection for the Left speaker the other is for the right.
The sub 10 has a built in crossover and this is the only way for connection. Any other questions about hookup I'll be happy to help. -
hello grimmace19,
thank you for your response...
i am sorry to sound like a knucklehead about this, this have changed since i last set up a stereo system. i pulled the onyko out of mothballs on a whim to see if this would work. so as for crossover, i do not know what your talking about and with all the you tubes and diy's on the internet i am totally confused.
i have 1 atwo wire - & +hooked to the left, going to a sat30 and 1 two wire hooked to a right sat30. i have great stereo sound.
unless i have doe something wrong here i do not know. i have attempted to hook-up the sub10 by twisting the negatives and positives together on the sub, along with a two wire 1 positive 1 negative and hooking them to onyko on top of, or along with the left and right sat10.
i have a total of 3 two wires coming off the onyko 1 left, 1 right and 1 sub??? what am i doing wrong ?
thanks again,

you need to essentially run them in parallel. Run 2 sets of 2 wires from each of your right and left speaker outputs. 1 set goes to each of the left and right speakers into their + and - and the other two sets will run to the subwoofer. So, 4 wires to the subwoofer a left + and - and a right + and - and your other 4 wires will go to the speakers themselves. right + and - on speaker and left + and - on the other.
