Hello,
I have a pair of 1.2's that I love... bought them new but they have been sitting behind a door disconnected for a year now. They need a couple tweeters, a couple small cosmetic flaws due to age, but other than that they are in great shape.

Question is, how hard are they to get parts for, and is it worth looking at selling them? I know they were sought after once upon a time, but not sure anymore.

Thanks in adavance!

You can get tweeters from Polk but I would replace all of them or find a couple used ones to get you by. But if you want to sell them they fetch good money still today..

    Where are you located?

That is some sweet looking stuff Lasareath! I was running a Yamaha natural sound mx1000 and sounded awesome... having the dedicated amps for yours I can only imagine the sound!

Here is a couple pics of them, the spots on the grilles are only lens flare.

Are they TL's?? its been a while since I bought them, and just assumed the serial on the back panel would say TL after the 1.2... Divorce papers would be no good, and bad karma is no good for me so I guess we are both lucky! :)

Sure look like TL' to me, the tweeters give it away. Here are some pics in this thread of the 1.2 TL's I got for my father a couple years back and you will notice the goldish dark color in his tweets as well. Since then, everything has been upgraded on them (as well as placement) including the tweets, xovers, and Toolfan's rings among some other mods. I highly recommend doing the mods to see how they can really shine...

Would be great if they are TL's - dare I post a picture of the back with the serial sticker?

By the way Chandler, looking at your pics - I remember the first time something fell off my speakers due to vibration... Stopped putting anything on them for a while lol.
