How to tune SRS WOW

Not sure if this thread is in the right section of the forum since I'm never in home audio but this should be close to you home audio guys. Car audio section didn't get any replies on this so let's try Home audio since SRS WOW is present in it.....

I have it on my DNX and can't really get how to use it right.
Google gives me a few reviews and some info on it but not much and none apply to car audio, only home audio and headphones.

Here's what I see/know about it based on me playing with it:

In my car it "raises" and "widens" the stage and does absolutely fantastic job there. It also somehow makes my highs clearer and very vivid in a good way but unfortunately it comes at sacrifice of low and lower mid frequencies. Low end looses it's "whooop" and isn't as bass-y as it usually is and lower mids loose it's punch. Kicks sounds kinda dull and thin.

If there's a way to keep my bass/mid-bass the way it is now WHILE raising and widening the stage I'd be the happiest camper but there just isn't enough info online about how to tune SRS WOW properly.

Some pics of my SRS WOW. Not sure if they' are needed but anyways:

Why would we know how to tune a Kenwood Radio? You didn't get any hits on your other post, so I'm not sure anyone knows

    Good luck

My guess and this is only a guess. Focus the Lows as close to zero as possible. Widen the Mids some and keep the highs where they are. The system should bring bass back into the sound if it is tuned correctly.

Play around and right down each change to reference back if you screw up.

It's not about tuning Kenwood radio, it's about tuning SRS WOW which is usually used in Home Audio equipment (thus me hoping for Home audio guys to know something about it) based on what I've found about it online. Kenwood is probably the only brand that actually uses this feature in their car audio units.

Never heard of SRS WOW, but then I'm a die hard 2 channel guy. Looks like you did get some advice, so that's cool.
