I went to the Farm this past weekend to set trail cam for up coming deer season, i also shot my .22 cal rifle,
AR15, done some fishing and ended my day with a rip around the woods on 4 wheeler.

Well I didn't catch any fish to bring home but did manage to bring home a large number( VERY LARGE !!) number
of turkey mites!!!!:evil:. I almost always spray down but this time I had a good ol B RAIN ****!! and
now I have well over a dozen bites and the itch from HELLLLLLLL!!!!

I have tried every thing to control the pain and itch, lic shampoo, anti itch cream, etc... all but smashing
my big toe with hammer to keep mind off it.

Never again will I forget to spray down.

Any suggestions?

My dogs get into things they should not out here it the woods. One of the best things I have found for critter infestations is Aloe Vera sunburn gel.

The lidocaine kills the itch with the gel suffocating the bugs. Normally clears up my pound hound in a day.

    Hope it helps.

This should work much faster than my suggestion. Be careful to not spill any of the gas on the ground to avoid issues with the EPA or Sierra Club.

This would most likely only apply to someone old enough to not have hardened seats. Should probably check your manual.

Quite true. I would think a softening of the seats would indicate an out of spec condition requiring correction prior to addressing the gas issue. Looks like the bug cure will just have to wait.

I think you just found the other use of a soldering iron. Use the high setting.

Having met Willie I am not sure he always knows the difference either. Honest mistake.

The gas talk is funny. I remember being a scout back in the 70's with a requirement to bring a bar of Fell's brand Naptha soap to any camping over occasion. It would light with the standard Scout Hot Spark.

Troop 10 out of Cape Girardeau Missouri. Rush Limbaugh's grandfather was one of my scout masters. Rush Senior.

Try the sunburn gel as it does work.

Met Willie a couple of times, he's a good guy. Don't care for his music, but he is good people.

As far as your "uncomfortable" condition, an old time remedy is vinegar. Seems to help on most bug bites.
