Hello,
I have just been told by a Polk tech that this speaker is no longer available, I have 2 pair of these speakers and love them, and refuse to unhook them and put them in storage because I can't buy 1 sub woofer speaker. Does anyone know where I can purchase 1 from? Please feel free to contact me at 352-445-6191 anytime. Dan.

The Silver Flute wool fiber woofers have historically been a good match to Polk 6.5" woofers, so they might do the same for the 8". They are available in 4 and 8 ohm version, so take a look.

Actually, the MW 8003 is a 7.5" woofer so a cabinet mod would be necessary to run the Silver Flute.
I have a couple of MW8002 out of some RT10's and would be willing to sell one.
MW8002 and 8003 are the same woofer.
