This offering from '93 gets little mention or love. Strange, because this album is one of the more powerful rock & roll albums I've ever heard. It's truly visceral, it bares the guts of many of our experiences, and delivers an outright power-packed guitar and vocal tour de force that seems impossible to avoid; yet it was and is (again, strange).

Paw's 'Dragline' is fierce, gentle, emotionally stirring, brutal ... real. Real rock & roll is HARD to come by but these guys delivered it in spades; unrelenting.

Reviews from some decent folk

Not sure what else to say, but these guys rocked like Marlon Brando acted.

LC - I also liked Paw. I bought Dragline and Death to Traitors...both decent rock albums. What prompted this emergence? The last band I thought someone would post about is Paw... :D

Speaking of the 90's....you remember Clutch? They really churn it out, and they are a Maryland local...or were that is. All of those releases are worthy.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Not sure what prompted it, it just happens from time to time.

Regarding Clutch, yes I remember the name, but I don't have any material to listen to. I'll likely look into some samples out of curiosity.

Wow dude... you should go into radio. You read like a commentator. Just jiving ya. Never heard "Paws" but I have heard "Clutch". They're ok but not quite "Slipknottish" enough for me.
