Looking to see if anyone here has a combination USB headphone amp. Looking mainly for any Audio GD models, but open to other options.
Prefer a model that can be used as a pre-amp with fixed output and used with another headphone amp, but not required.
Must have Asynchronus USB input, volume control and headphone out.
PM me if you got something.
Prefer to keep price under 250 but possibly willing to stretch a bit...

Audiogon has them from time to time; just keep your eyes open.
The NFB-12.1 is in your price range new:

I don't think the NFB-12.1 supports asynchronous playback. At least, it isn't listed on the site that way. The NFB-5 appears to be their lowest current offering that does.

The 5.2 offers async support, the 5 does not. The 16, 12.2 & 15.2 do as well."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
Again as I have stated just because it's asynch doesn't mean it's the best thing going. On the other hand since this is the same manufacturer and similar build, parts, etc. asynch is probably desireable.
Just buy something, please
Here's one also

LOL, I know I was simply commenting the 5 didnt have it. I have taken that part off the list and if its included it will be nice....
I hope to buy something on Friday of this week and stop the insanity lol.
Its ok, I needed something to keep my mind off other things recently and obsessing about this is a much better option that some of the alternatives lol.
H9 I promise I am almost done blowing up your inbox
Yeah I noticed that but cant find much info on it. There is a 12.1 on their website in the active products, but no 12 in the discontinued ones."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." It's OK, just busting your balls.

Audio-gd doesn't seem to be too thorough with their discontinued products list. Another of theirs that you won't find there is the Audio-gd Compass (that is a link to a thread selling one - no affiliation)
Older model, so it likely doesn't support asynch or 24/192. In fact, I'm not even sure what bitrates it DOES support. I think the sellers of both linked Audio-gd products are asking too much, personaly.
