Need the space back unfortunately and am keeping my eyes out for some Monitor 7's.

Crossovers fully rebuilt and TL modded with Clarity Cap PX's all around & I forget the brand of resistors, but it's the good stuff- $125 shipped
(2) JB Welded MW6511 - $50 each shipped. I will be having these professionally packaged. I suck at packaging
(2) JB Welded MW6503 - $50 each shipped. Same as above, professionally packaged.
(2) RD0-198 Tweeters - $75 shipped for both. Same as above. No ghettofied packaging.
(2) SDA-2B Passive Radiators - Don't know the model number nor what to ask. Make an offer!
Larry's Rings & Hardware - $60 shipped. One of the PR screws is stripped. I think I threw out the templates in our move.

Thanks guys, open to reasonable offers! If my pricing is a little off on something, let me know. Trades welcome.

Forgot to mention the tweeters have wire soldered directly to the terminals, so they come with the wire and the quick connector for plug n' play operation :)

Is there a reason you're slicing and dicing them instead of selling them intact ?

I agree it's very sad to part out something like that unless something is really wrong with the cabinets:sad:

Yes it is but one never seems to recover costs on mods. Folks outside of this group will not pay any more for 2B verses 2Btls. They do not care.

What a shame to part out a perfectly good pair of speakers. It's utterly despicable, since SDA's are becoming more and more rare as time goes on.

Love my 2B-TL's. Spare parts would be nice but parting these out seems like blasphemy. Let someone else enjoy them.

That's only $360 + say $80 for the PR's and he still has to ship the stuff and that will be probably cost $140. I would put them on Cl for $350 or Ebay for $300 start.

    This, IMHO, totally sucks.

As H9 said these are becoming more rare by the day and the OP is now sending them to speaker abattoir.

Yes, especially where the OP is located, he shouldn't have too hard of a time selling them intact (for local pickup).

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

These have been listed multiple times here and on craigslist, our beloved speakers just don't have the interest we all know they deserve to have. I gave it time and now the shipped has sailed.

Tweeters & xover's gone pending payment.

I just got a pair of mint condition 2B's a while back love them, all my other speakers are being neglected at the moment until the SDA Magic wears off and I go back to the others. My CRS+'s will be modded first then the 2B's. I couldnt imagine parting with them. I guess i'am a little late on the x-overs and the RDO's. I wish you good luck with the sale, though it appears you dont need any.

If those who are so concerned about parting these speakers out should pay the poster a fair price and buy them and therefore SAVE them" instead of commenting in a for sale thread. These comments should be made in a sepporate tjread in the vintage speakers section not in a members for sale thread.

Guys, regardless of how you feel about this, a forum member has the right to sell gear in the for-sale forum without all of this commentary in the thread. It's right there in the forum rules. If people want to debate whether or not good, working speakers should be parted out for sale, do it in the discussion forums. The guy is trying to do business in the for-sale forums, and unless you're buying from him you shouldn't post in his thread.
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Comments in sale threads have always happened since day one here at CP even the innocous "great piece of gear, GLWTS".

That doesn't belong anymore than any other comment not directly related to the purchase.

This is not news and I'm sure it will continue.

I'm with you, Brock, but comments such as GLWTS (and the like) also has the inherent value of at least bumping a thread to the top.

FWIW, I would love to exchange the cabinets from my 2Bs to something a little more respectable looking, they really need some help. LOL
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
