Purchased new in April 2012, original retail was $2195, these are the dark cherry versions and are mint except for on very small nick in one of the cabs which is not even visible from the front. I will not ship these so local only.

Also willing to trade for a pair of LSi15's.

Selling price is $1200 firm, they are listed on local craigslist for $1300 so I am giving the Polkies a $100 discount already. I am located in Austin Tx and may be willing to drive a little ways to meet someone for the sale.

They are very detailed and bright, on axis they are pristine but lacking in the bottom end. Off axis they are just not good at all. I do a mix of HT/2CH listening and am just looking for something that does both better...and louder. The 8" woofer in them just does not blend well with the top end in my opinion, though some may like them just fine. I had them on a Carver TFM-35 and C-1 preamp today and at a certain volume they were great but beyond that they got sloppy and harsh. They are revealing to the point that you can tell a good mix/master from a crappy one real quick. Still trying to decide between the Energy RC-70 (hard to find) and the LSi15 with the woofer upgrade, I'll be pushing either with the Carver through my Yamaha RX-A820. I am always open to other suggestions as well. My wife will not allow the SDA1C's in the living room (nor will they fit next to her new giant cabinet) but they are my favorites matched with the carver amp and C-1 preamp.

Yeah but I do not want any part of those built in amps, heard about too many issues with them.

Thing with the Lsi's is they are 4 ohm speakers and require some juice. THere is a mod that involves replacing the stock 8" woofer in the 15's with a Polk DB840 woofer ($57 on Amazon), supposedly helps out a lot. Cross them over at 80 and let the sub do the heavy lifting. But I am also considering the RTI A9 which is a beast of a tower and an 8ohm speaker...just have not heard any of them yet.
