New to board

Hello,

I have just recently decided to try and purchase another pair of Polk speakers. I owned an original pair of SDA SRS'2s when I was 20. Sold them 10 years ago, now I am regretting it. I would like to upgrade and go for the 1.2tl's or something close. I am blown away at all the mods that are now possible for these guys. I am not a tech guy, but it appears you can really make theses speakers come alive

    Welcome to the forum. Keep your eyes open and cash available and maybe a pair will show up. Don't overlook the 2.3TL as they are every bit as capable as the 1.2TL. You could potentially spend the purchase price on mods if fully hot-rodded. Good luck.

    So, You think the 2.3TL's are as good as the 1.2's? What price range should I expect to find them in? I found a pair of 2.3's close to me, but I am not sure how they sound and not sure I like those donut drivers. Can those me moded to add drivers?

    There are two 2.3 models. the original 2.3 and the 2.3TL. I have the 2.3TL and prefer them. I've seen them go from 600 to 1300. YMMV

    Yes 2.3TL. Remember that not having a general idea where you live makes it hard to recommend any. Zip codes are good:lol:
