    The Mule is incredible.
    Warren Haynes is one of the greats and seems to fly under the radar for many.

    Saw 'em in Raleigh. Super-groovilicious jam. Allman looked very thin but was in better voice than on the 2011 soundboards I've heard. Trucks and Haynes were of one brilliant and creative mind. Oteil was amazing in his own little 4-string world. I now wish I had traveled to Charlotte to catch that show too.

    Allman is coming to our little family beach blues & jazz festival in October and Tedeschi Trucks Band is coming to our lakeside amphitheater a week later. Can't wait.

    I hope Gregg is in decent shape for the gig.Saw him last year and he puts on a great bluesy show with his band.Floyd Miles,Bruce Katz on piano,nice groove they have going.Bluesy Whipping Post is killer.

    We were down front but right of center, so I couldn't see too much of him other than his face. He seemed pretty energetic and enthusiastic, but he did disappear for a couple long breaks while the others jammed. I looked at the Peach video online and it looked to me like he had gained a little weight. I took his signing to play at the little beach fest as a good sign that he's stronger and willing to travel and wanting to play on a while longer. Sure hope so.
