Hello all, we have been chugging along here pretty good.
Just thought i would update you guys on what your advice has led us to, and im not exaggerating about all you guys helping.
Latest purch. is the adcom gfa555 in cherry cond.,and i mean CHERRY shape, the original owner even replaced rca jacks with gold plated new ones.
He is an older gentleman from england who is an audio fanatic, we sat and listened to his homebuilt gear and apogee centaurs.
The other recent purch. was the rega rp1 with the performance pack.
Let me try to run down all the polkies who advised me on assembling this system over time.
Of course Brock (Heiney9), Mark(dorokusai) and others sharing their knowledge about adcom gear, guiding me to which to concentrate on.
Chris, (CSTMAR) sold me the gfp750 here.
Scompracer alerted me to the audiogon ad that i eventually got the tt from.
TNHNDYMAN (Travis) went WAAAY out of his way to get the time windows from seller and bring them here and has provided me with invaluable advice on audio.
Starkiller sold me the rega mini im using.
And i dont want to even get started on all the people who have showed us such support and empathy through debs illness.
Not bad for a place i just stopped in to see if some polk speaks i saw on cl was worth it.
Hope to get the pic up, tried earlier, couldnt do it.

Hey Scott great to see you man. Got your PM. No problems here, just life gets in the way of life sometimes and not enough hours in the day to do it all. Looking forward to talking to you. That 555 is huge! Nice to see the vinyl out again. Hope you are enjoying the new turntable. Wish we were closer and you could try any of the 15 I have in the house now.
