$$Value of LS70 speakers in rosewood?

I am thinking of picking up a pair of these. Ive always loved the look, but really know nothing about the current value. I have had a pair of ls50s and am curious to see how these sound. If I dont like them, I would also like to know what the resale value might be. I know there is no replacement currently available for the mw8100 driver. Any info would be helpful.

    Using Google looks like $250-$225 for a used pair.
