These powerhouses sold for a rocking $16,000 brand new. Their look is iconic, definitely one of the meanest amplifiers I have seen in a while. They pump out an outstanding 170 watts of class A power. 600 watts into A/B. I think it goes without saying they will power absolutely anything.

These units were factory refurbished however they have provided years of absolutely reliable use and I think we all know Nelson Pass would not sign off anything that was anything less than perfect so buy with absolute confidence.

The unit is in great overall condition, I would rate it a conservative 7/10 - there are some light scratches (very hard to find) on the fins and the side of the face plates show some very light marring. It would be hard to find any of these blemishes from 1 foot or more away. EDIT: Looking at the pictures there is some small marks on the faceplate of one of the amplifiers, very hard to see when not in super bright light.

Absolutely incredible amplifiers!

These will include the factory boxes (double boxed) and packaging. We will also add more packaging to ensure safe arrival.

Price is $7,000 SHIPPED with Paypal

"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

$7k is very reasonable for that kind of very high quality amplification. Good luck!

Wonder if that person will grab up the Utopia Grandes while they are at it.

Good grab for whoever it is. Though it is entirely possible that it was on Audiogon.

    No, unfortunately not.

Would have been extremely interesting to hear these go against the Odyssey Kismet Monoblocks

    Hmmm

Honestly I dont feel it would be fair to evaluate these amps given I was using a pioneer elite receiver as a pre and a sony blu ray player as a source...

    Sorry! :(

I had the Pass Labs X150 for awhile and it was the most neutral, linear amp I've ever heard. Bass was a tad on the lean side for me. Lots of detail and clarity. Eventually I sold it because I like my amps a tad on the warm side of neutral.
