Hello Polks,
Shout out to the ICE club peeps here, my original SC07 was stolen when I had it service for firmware upgrade. The authorized service center replaced it with a used one with 1month warranty. So now I am screwed, most of the preouts are F>>King loose, no signal coming out (you have to move it around 'till u can achieve signal) I assume this came from a store and ran as display and abused. Seem like the fools from the store dont know how to use the interconnects correctly.

Panel was removed to investigate but it aint service friendly, covered with IC boards, so seeking some advice here. I guess i can disconnect some IC boards to gain access to the connectors and resolder.....

It seems to me that you're correct they need to be resoldered. Could you do this? If not resend it back to fix them.

Tell them you want cash, not the piece of junk they are trying to pass off.

If it's a service center can they not fix it to at least the shape yours was in when they recieved it? I would also look into cash as it sounds like you got the worst end of this deal. They just happened to have one on the shelf eh! hmmmm. :)

Unfortunately, 1month warranty has been passed. They'll charge $50-60/hr to fix depending on the case. As noted, I am screwed. Been watching movies w/o my amps and sub :(
