As the title says, I have one up for sale. It has a black ash plinth and it will come with a Shure M97XE cart. The belt is almost brand new and the table was fully lubed a few months ago. The cover is fully intact along with the hinges. The table also comes with the original Thorens power supply/wall wort. The unit has RCA jacks installed so that you can use any interconnect of your choice.

Table plays very well and I hate to even list this but I think I will be moving to a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon that is on the way right now.

Because of obvious shipping concerns, I would like to keep this local. If I get no interest locally I may ship, but it will be at buyers expense.

I will follow with pics later.

Price: $300

Thanks for looking!

I could be interested in this piece. Any chance you'd drive a bit to meet up somewhere? Albany is pretty out of the way (I live in CT) but I will be up in Boston this weekend, and could take an alternate route there or back (Saturday or Sunday) and meet up with you on the Mass Pike. Any shot of that working for you?
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

I don't mind driving to meet at all. Only issue I have is that I have family flying in this weekend and I will be busy with them till the weekend after... If I take time out of my sister in laws visit to sell a TT, my wife will have my head on a platter. Lol.

Pm me where you live in CT and lets see what we can work out. I don't work Thursday so maybe we can meet up that evening?

I wish I could be there when you say to yourself; "I can't believe I did not have a turntable"...

Yes it is. And it's a really, really nice piece.

It was great to meet Frank and his wife on Saturday, and a pleasure to now own this great table. I sold my turntable in 1988 or 1989, and have been exclusively cd/digital ever since. I still have a few old records that I've held on to, and I must say that playing them has been like seeing old friends for the first time in about 25 years. Last night, I had my original 1967 Sgt. Pepper spinning. Just awesome. Now gotta get me a good phono stage and a some record cleaning kit. Very psyched to be back in the vinyl mode.

What are you thinking about in terms of a phono stage? I recently picked up a nice AR-XB, and want to add a decent phono stage to my main system as well. Not sure where to start so thought I would see what you are thinking. Thanks

Still a work in progress. Had started out thinking I'd get the Bellari VP530, with the USB out a cool little extra. Even went so far as to buy the thing, it just arrived today! But then changed my mind and think I am going to go with a whole new preamp instead of a separate phono and line stage. So I haven't opened the Bellari yet, thinking I'm going to return it. I paid $339 for it, and I'll take a 15% hit on a restock fee on it, so if you're interested in a good deal on the VP530, let me know quickly, otherwise I'm going to return it.

Congrats on your turntable purchase!!! Get yourself a good phono stage - such as a PS Audio GCPH. You wont believe how well vinyl sounds compared to CD once you find yourself a good phono stage!!!

Make sure to have a good cartridge to match!!!

Thinking that I'm returning the Bellari (or can sell it to someone here at a nice discount instead of paying the restock fee, and I got a good deal on it to begin with) and I'm going to sell the Dared SL2000a that I just got, and go with the bigger/better Dared, which is a phono stage and a pre in one unit:

Have been reading great things about it, seems worthy of a try.
