For your consideration is a pair of the most incredible elite class of speakers in existence today.

Condition - These speakers are in a very conservatively rated 8/10 condition on the Audiogon scale. The only two notable marks are on one speaker, there is a light scratch (roughly 1" long, hairline) on the front bottom left and the second scratch is on the same speaker, again roughly 1" long, hairline on the side panel. Outside of these two blemishes these speakers look and perform superbly. There are no tears on the grills or any discernible marks I can find.

Whats comes with the speakers - These speakers come with the original packaging, which includes the crate, "sock" and all internal padding. The spikes are also included, they do have some scratches on the anodized part of the spikes but once they are set up you will not notice them. The spikes come in their own small crate. They will also come with the manual.

The sound - The sound of the speakers are nothing short of spectacular, the cleanest of highs, the most effortless reproduction. The soundstage is expansive and pin point accurate. The amount of depth you will experience from your recordings will be like no other. The only downside to these speakers is most likely your current speakers will no longer sound good. Sorry!

Pictures - Unfortunately these speakers are already crated so we will only be able to supply pictures that have already been taken. The only additional pictures we could provide is the speakers sitting in their crate.

Shipping/Pick Up/Delivery - We are willing to drive 800 miles and will bring help to either A. Do a hand off (you will need a trailer or a U-Haul type vehicle) or B. Set these up in your house for you up to that distance. Shipping is included in the price and will be by truck. We will not offer overseas shipping at this time, sorry.

Price - $44,000.00 Shipped, $42,000.00 800 Miles Delivery/Hand Off, $40,0000.00 Local Pick Up. We will entertain reasonable offers.

Terms of Sale - $10,000 deposit upon sale agreement, this can be either paypal, money order or check. If it falls under the latter two it must clear first. The remainder will either be by Escrow or cash upon delivery. If shipping total is due before shipment and no more than $10,000 will be received by paypal.

Please ask any and all questions.

I will be willing to work with any Polkie in regards to these speakers and pricing.

My family has some deep audio roots. But to put it short I am handling the selling, communicating and shipping of these speakers for a family member. :)

    Thanks

Though way out of my price range. These are phenomenal and that's a killer price for what runs a lot MORE new! If someone has the resources, well, this is YOUR speaker!

I'd love to have a set myself, One more note. Could this be a "record" sale (on the forum) in a period that is also seeing Olympic History in the making?

    GLWTS!

Make sure that you list the fact you aren't the owner Trey, unless you came into a lottery winning ticket lately. This keeps the chain of ownership clear and I presume you're taking full responsibility for anything that could possibly happen right? Those are pretty nice speakers for sure. What did he upgrade to?

OK, just checking as some new folks might not understand.

If there's anyone that takes this hobby to the next level of serious, it's VR3. Aside from F1Nut, Russman and myself, he's the next best handler of loudspeakers that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I would never worry about a purchase unless he shows up with a sleeping bag and a story about how he got kicked out....I won't fall for that again Trey.

wow, just wow. I would be shocked if anyone in this forum would even consider speakers at this level. Honestly, the price is way out of most, if not all, members' budget. These speakers are too many level above anything from Polk :)

I would be shocked if there WASN'T a forum member that would consider these for their own. Instead I would be shocked if either:

    A. The wife said "ok honey, just buy them as you only live once", or

    B. Anybody here would have a place to sleep if they DID buy them and the bank statement showed up. Try e'splaining why 40k is missing from the 401k.

let's say someone in this forum buys this. how is he going to power it? Speakers at this level deserve a super special amp too. so, another 30k+ for an amp?

This thread is funny thought, it's like trying to sell a Lexus LFA in a Camry forum.

I think you would be quite surprised to find out how many on this forum would consider this sale, especially given the seller. Another point is that since the speakers are used and at a good price they could be purchased, used for a few years then re-sold with virtually no loss in value. Try that with a new $1K pair of speakers, they will sell for half price next week. :)
