Member Sales Ratings - OPEN FOR BUSINESS

This is a list of members and their respective sales rating as of 8.1.2012. The original rating/feedback feature was removed from Club Polk a couple years ago and will not be coming back. The baseline is the previous members sales rating and/or any additions to that rating as of the aforementioned date. This list will be updated monthly and maintained by the moderators......or rather, ME.
If you have a positive experience from a completed sale in the forum, simply send a private message to (TBD) with your statement and a link to the actual For Sale(FS) thread. No comments like eBay, just a +1 and a link to the thread.
I would like to keep this simple and the SELLER ONLY send me a PM with the information, link to sale and short comment. If the seller was/is pleased with the buyer, send a +1 for the buyer but it's usually a given unless they stiffed you for money. Does that sound reasonable?
If you have a negative experience, please work this out between yourself and the seller. If you cannot reach an agreement, contact me offline thru a Private Message and we'll attempt some kind of arbitration. This is a serious concern and obviously will be discussed with all parties involved but anything determined to be negative, will have a large impact on the rating. This sort of penalty is necessary to keep this honor system working but isn't fool proof so the mantra Buyer Beware should always apply.
When you go below zero(0), you're immediately barred from using the Flea Market for one(1) year. If you have more than one(1) negative feedback dispute, in a year, the same rule applies. It's really easy to stay positive and maintain a high rating, just price your item right, ship it correctly and make sure everyone is happy with the transaction....simple stuff guys.
Good luck and thanks for reading.

WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS.
Here's the deal. Please keep your PM's at a MINUMUM to me when it comes to this stuff. All I want to know is about the actual SALE from SELLER ONLY. This keeps stuff from being duped and numbers getting out of hand.
PM me the link to the FS thread and who is involved for the +1.
Yes, I know some of you are not on this list. This was due to the time involved to historically search for much of this information. If Patrick wasn't able to port your old feedback ratings into the new VBulletin rollout....you are out of luck. You will start at ZERO. Cry me a river later but if you're an old timer that lost total numbers, your post count should speak volumes.
We're going to do our best here and use the idea Shack created long ago for tracking positive feedback, and negative as well.
Let's move forward from today on and not pull back data from 6 months ago. You can if you want but my priority is recent deals and I will close the thread accordingly as SOLD.

Hello, Mark. I believe a genuine "thank you" is in order. My hat is off to you, Sir.
Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
Anytime Tom, this is important for all of us. I believe you know the magnitude of why and have been a part of the positive feeling for FM sales for many years.

No George. I simply could not go thru the 30k+ roster and add everyone. I'll get you in the list as you see yourself now. The project was just a bit overwhelming to start breaking it down in pieces.
What I meant was that if you have ZERO beside your name, that's where you start. You are an example of someone that got ported properly....like myself and a lot of others. I can't answer the why's and am not going to begin that in any way since it has nothing to do with me.
George and Tom are added.

Hey mark, can you PM me who it was you gave me credit for, have some other sales I want added, but dont want to barrage everyone I've sold to with PM's
Also you've still got a set of EXP speaker cables boxed up ready for you whenever"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -

Just PM me. I know and knew this wasn't going to be initially easy. Just get it over with.
We'll handle the EXP stuff later, I'm in no hurry.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -

Hey Mark,
Thanks for putting this together. I know it's also going to be a PITA initially. So I and hope all are patient while this gets setup.
I do have a couple questions. Your first post says sellers and buyers but your third post says sellers only. So do you get a rating for both or just one? I only have a single rating in your list because I have sold only 1 item. However, I have purchased lots of stuff and the rating is around 20-ish. I can't remember exactly. So are you starting everyone at their seller rating?
Thanks!
BTW. EndersShadow did sell me something (and others too while the rating system was down) about 3 months ago and the transaction was fantastic. -

I understand the question and the reason for SELLER only was to keep it simple. Yes, Both SELLER and BUYER get a +1 and I work off the initial thread linked by the SELLER in the PM. It just cuts down on the PM's as I get dozens already and cannot mentally handle too much more. I'm a guy and my brain capacity is limited.
I'm doing my best to get everyone loaded and on the list for your pleasure, please bear with me.

Why include people with 0 transactions Mark?
-
Mark,
Please add me. -
I had a thought I thought I would throw out there. I know there is lots of stuff that gets Karma'd off either behind the scene's or through the actual Flea Market. Do we want to also add Karma's to a members sales rating and if so do we want to give those Karma's a worth that is more than 1?
I just thought it would be nice to document/recognize all those folks that have given stuff away to others on the forum as that is one thing I LOVE about this forum, the community feel we all have here.
I know I am still rocking out to the The Lost Christmas Karma CD I got from daboyz last year."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
Can I get added as well please? 37 positive transactions over the years.
Thanks!!

I have sold a whole load of stuff here and my only rating comes from some one who got something damaged on his end. I have had another 12 transactions that went perfectly since, where is doro anyways?

This feature has been down for years. I believe that I had at least 7 or 8 transactions after the (1) in my sig? Oh well!
On another note. And to echo halo above; where is Doro? He is still with Polk, right?

Ken, I am going to shoot you a PM with my changes, I kept copies of the PM's I sent doro .
Thanks for volunteering.
As a FYI perhaps we could try to setup something similar to what F1Nut did with the MIT demo so there was just a chart updated on another site that someone or someone(s) could edit so we dont have to keep PM'ing you.
Also you might consider putting a Last Updated date at the top so folks know when it was last updated.
