Oppo DV-980H

I've been reading a bit about these and I have a couple of questions I wonder if someone here might answer -

1) I would like to play DVDs to our TV via HDMI, but CD's into my Luxman R-115, which doesn't have HDMI. Is it possible to wire the DV-980H to do both?

    Yep it's possible. I do that with my Oppo. I have it connected to my Plasma via HDMI for DVD's, then have RCA cables connected to my preamp so that the audio portion comes out my speakers. When I'm watching DVD's I have to "mute" my tv then change the selector on my preamp.
